Students in fourth grade learned about food packages as examples of “advertising.” They discussed what techniques that packages use to attract attention and to convey product attributes, including some misleading images. The teacher talked about nutrition labels and ingredients as a way to talk about nutrition and to practice math concepts  (link to here).
